Paul Burrous

Paul Burrous has over 25 years of work experience in the field of software engineering and data architecture. Paul currently holds the position of Engineering Technical Lead at Terminus since 2022.

Before joining Terminus, Paul worked at PERQ from 2014 to 2022 as a Database Architect, where they designed a data architecture for a horizontally-scalable web application and implemented a data pipeline for processing web and system events in near-real time.

Prior to PERQ, Paul served as an Applications Database Architect at Teradata from 2012 to 2014. In this role, they identified and fixed inefficient database usage in the Aprimo SaaS marketing application and performed analysis to troubleshoot database and software problems.

From 2005 to 2012, Paul worked as a Principal Software Engineer at Aprimo, where they played a key role in designing and developing the campaign management module for the Aprimo SaaS marketing application.

Earlier in their career, Paul worked as a Software Engineer at T2 Software Services in 2004, where they designed and implemented a .NET toolset for data matching, and at Luhrs Marine Group in 2004, where they developed applications for manufacturing and HR tracking and administered Oracle production databases.

Paul also served as a Software Engineer at KEANE from 2001 to 2004, where they designed and developed an ASP.NET web service for insurance application pre-screening, and at Whirlpool Corporation from 1995 to 2001, where they designed and maintained client/server applications for employee and production tracking.

Paul Burrous attended Purdue University from 1994 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science.
