Maria Mercedes C.

Maria Mercedes C. has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. In 1990, they worked as the Director of Administrative Coffee Census at the National Federation of Colombian Coffee Growers. From 1994 to 1996, they served as the Secretary General at Fedesarrollo. In 1996, they became the Director of the Donations Program at Universidad de los Andes. Maria Mercedes then held the position of Regional Director in Bogotá at Instituto FES de Liderazgo in 1998. Maria joined Fedesarrollo again in 1998, this time serving as their Secretary General until 2007. From 2007 to 2011, they worked at Coltabaco (Philip Morris International) as the Manager of Regulation, Internal Communications, and Social Responsibility. In 2011, they became the Director of Corporate Affairs at EL TIEMPO Casa Editorial. Maria spent a year at the Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores de Colombia as the Consul General from 2012 to 2013 before joining Organización Terpel S.A. as their Vice President of Human Resources and Administration in 2013.

Maria Mercedes C. has a degree in Educational Fund Raising from Dartmouth College. Maria Mercedes also has a Diploma in Alta Gerencia (High Management) from Universidad de Los Andes.
