Donald "D.J." Lake serves as the Chief Science Officer at Terra CO2 Technology since March 2015, overseeing a research and development team focused on creating zero CO2 construction materials. Previously, Donald held the position of Senior VP of Research & Development, where efforts centered on innovative alternative cementitious materials, and also served as CEO, directing the development of technologies to address significant environmental challenges. Prior experience includes roles as a researcher at the Mineralogical Association of Canada and geotechnician at Pretivm Resources. Donald is currently a PhD candidate in Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences (Mineralogy) at The University of British Columbia, where previous degrees include a Master of Science in Geological Sciences and a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing.
