Clayton Carroll

Clayton Carroll, P.E. is a seasoned professional in the field of geotechnical engineering with extensive experience in project management and design. Currently, Clayton serves as Principal and Office Manager at Terracon since July 2017, focusing on geotechnical design for deep and shallow foundations, as well as soil stabilization, while managing various industrial, commercial, educational, and public sector projects. Previously, Clayton worked at Braun Intertec Corporation as a Geotechnical Staff Engineer, where responsibilities included geotechnical project management and foundation design. Early career experience includes a role as a research assistant at the Texas Department of Transportation and the University of Texas at Tyler, contributing to significant academic papers and reports, as well as engineering internships with Luminant, which involved both short and long-range mine planning and efficiency studies. Clayton holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at Tyler, earned in 2014.
