Gordon Mowat is an experienced executive with a diverse background in the food, retail, and consumer goods sectors. Currently serving as Operating Managing Director for Food Folk at McDonald’s Nordics with Terra Firma Capital Partners since October 2024, Gordon previously held significant roles at Costa Coffee, including Managing Director for CostaX and Costa Europe, Middle East, and North Africa from November 2019 to October 2024. Gordon's experience also encompasses leadership positions at Marks and Spencer, Wm Morrison Supermarkets Plc, and McKinsey & Company, where strategic development and operational improvements were key focuses. A former Brand Manager at Procter & Gamble and Field Sales Manager at The Southwestern Company, Gordon holds a 1st class BEng Honours in Mechanical Engineering and German from the University of Bath.
