Amy Gunderson

Director of Grants Administration & Operations at Terra Foundation for American Art

Amy Gunderson is the Director of Grants Administration & Operations at the Terra Foundation for American Art. Amy has been with the organization since 2010, and in their current role, they are responsible for establishing, organizing, and implementing internal grant procedures for the Terra Foundation's global grantmaking program.

Amy has a deep understanding of compliance issues related to grants, and they advise the President and CEO, Executive Vice President, and Chief Financial Officer on compliance matters. Amy also manages the Foundation's grantmaking system, serving as database administrator for the Microedge GIFTS system. In addition, Amy implements the Foundation's grant program evaluation process, managing post-grant data collection and analysis and assisting program officers in compiling evaluation reports.

Amy is a skilled communicator, and they prepare grant-related communications materials (including website text, remarks, press releases, etc) for the Terra Foundation. Prior to joining the Terra Foundation, Amy worked as a Cultural Grants Coordinator at the City of Chicago's Department of Cultural Affairs and as a Grants Administrator at the Arts Council of Indianapolis.

Amy Gunderson has a Bachelor of Science in Arts Administration with a concentration in Dance from Butler University.

Amy Gunderson reports to Sharon Corwin, President & CEO. Amy Gunderson works with Jessica Warchall - Director of Communications, Jennifer Siegenthaler - Senior Program Director, Chicago Grants & Initiatives, and Patricia Gaunet - Director, Office Administration & Grants Administrator. Ryan Harrop - Grants Management Associate, Maya Simmons - Grants Associate report to Amy Gunderson.
