Joaquin Arguello

Joaquin Arguello has over 26 years of work experience in the banking industry. Joaquin began their career at Barnett Bank in 1994 as a VP and Branch Manager, where they managed branch operations and provided customer service. In 1999, Joaquin joined BankUnited as an SVP and Senior Market Manager, responsible for overseeing sales and profitability in multiple branches.

In 2007, Joaquin moved to BAC Florida Bank as an SVP and Domestic Banking Manager, where they managed domestic banking operations. Joaquin then joined BanescoUSA in 2009 as an EVP and Commercial Director, responsible for developing and implementing the bank's domestic and international branch strategy.

Since 2013, Joaquin has been working with Terrabank as an EVP and Domestic & International Banking Head, where they oversee both domestic and international banking operations.

Throughout their career, Joaquin has demonstrated a strong focus on sales, profitability, and client relationship management. Joaquin has also been involved in coordinating cross-selling efforts between banks and affiliated financial groups.

Joaquin Arguello pursued their higher education by completing their Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, and Management Information Systems from the University of New Orleans. Joaquin successfully graduated from this program in the year 1994. Later, in 2002, Joaquin enrolled at Nova Southeastern University for their Master's in Business Administration (MBA), specializing in Business Administration. Joaquin completed their MBA program in 2004, thereby enhancing their knowledge and expertise in the field of business administration.
