Dharshini Baskaran

Dharshini Baskaran has a diverse work experience in the field of software quality assurance. Dharshini started their career as a Trainee Software Engineer at Aeturnum in 2014, where they were responsible for understanding and creating test cases and test data to ensure coverage of test requirements.

In 2016, Dharshini joined 99X Technology as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer. Their responsibilities included identifying business requirements, designing and executing test cases, and evaluating technical design documents. Dharshini worked in this role until March 2023.

Dharshini then joined iVedha Inc. as a Software Quality Assurance Consultant in March 2023. Dharshini provided consultancy services in software quality assurance until April 2023.

Currently, Dharshini is working at Terrace (YC S22) as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, starting in April 2023.

Throughout their career, Dharshini has gained experience in various roles, including Associate Quality Assurance Lead at 99X from 2022 to 2023, and Senior Quality Assurance Engineer at 99X from 2020 to 2022. Dharshini has a strong background in designing and executing test cases, evaluating specifications, and implementing suitable testing methodologies.

Dharshini Baskaran began their education at Bishop's College in Colombo, where they attended from 1999 to 2012. However, no specific degree or field of study was specified during this time. Later, from 2013 to 2016, they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Computer Software Engineering at the University of Westminster. Additionally, in 2021, Dharshini obtained two certifications: the Advanced Test Automation Engineer (ATAE) from the ISTQB® - International Software Testing Qualifications Board and the Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL), also from the ISTQB®.
