Dean Podolsky

Dean Podolsky has extensive experience in the field of UAV operations and environmental services. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Biological (Wildlife) GIS Analyst for the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). In 2017, they joined Area West Environmental, Inc. as an Environmental Specialist/GIS Analyst, where they contributed to regulatory permitting efforts. In 2018, they worked as a GIS Researcher/Surveyor for Apple. In 2019, they joined ECORP Consulting, Inc. as an Environmental Specialist/UAV Pilot. In 2020, they founded Aukum Drone Services, LLC., providing photogrammetry, topography, and imagery-based services for national clients in the real estate, environmental, and land development industries. In 2021, they worked as a UAV Pilot for TraceAir Technologies and SkySkopes. Currently, they are employed as a Field Operations Manager and Commercial Drone Operator at TerraClear Inc.

Dean Podolsky received their Bachelor's degree in Geology from Birkbeck, University of London between 2001 and 2005. Dean has obtained several certifications since then, including an OSHA 10 Hour Construction Course from the OSHA Safety Training Institute in March 2021, a SkySkopes Pilot Training Program from SkySkopes, Inc. in March 2021, Learning Pix4D Drone Mapping from LinkedIn in February 2021, a FAA Part 107 sUAS Remote Pilot from the Federal Aviation Administration in March 2020, Part 107 from the Federal Aviation Administration in March 2019, CPR from MEDIC First Aid Nederland in February 2020, and ESRI ArcGIS 10x Certified from Esri.
