Simon Bourke

Simon Bourke is an experienced professional in the coal mining and processing industry, currently serving as CHPP Superintendent at TerraCom Limited since January 2021, overseeing mining operations and rehabilitation at the Blair Athol Coal Mine. Previously, Simon held various managerial roles at Coronado Global Resources Inc. and Wesfarmers Curragh, focusing on engineering, logistics, maintenance, and coal handling, where significant improvements in safety, efficiency, and production were achieved. Simon's extensive background also includes leadership positions in health, safety, and environmental management at BHP and Rio Tinto, as well as engineering and metallurgy roles early in their career. Simon Bourke holds a Bachelor of Science in Metallurgy from The University of Queensland.
