Ashok Jain

Ashok Jain has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Ashok currently holds the position of Managing Director at Terracon Ecotech Pvt. Ltd., where they oversee project management, deal structuring, financial engineering, government relationships, international business, and organizational development. Ashok Jain is currently involved in an integrated sustainable development project focused on transforming an underdeveloped region into a sustainable one using nature-based solutions.

Prior to their role at Terracon, Ashok Jain co-founded Terracon and served as the Founder Director & Strategist. In this role, they helped corporate and government clients with ecology-based environmental solutions, including green belt planning, eco-restoration of degraded lands, biodiversity studies, and natural resource management.

Ashok Jain has also worked at Beyond Squarefeet Advisory Pvt. Ltd. as an Advisor, where they provided guidance on financial, legal, and strategic matters related to mall design and development.

Additionally, Ashok Jain served as the CFO & Growth Catalyst at Aliagroup, a multi-business group focusing on brand consulting, design, and print management services. Ashok was responsible for generating growth for the group businesses and incubating new ventures.

Earlier in their career, Ashok Jain held the position of Executive Director & CEO at Contact India Commodities Private Limited, a commodity futures trading start-up. Ashok specialized in offering integrated futures trading services and delivery-based trading platforms.

Furthermore, Ashok Jain worked at The Shoprite Group of Companies as the Head of Freshmark India. Ashok played a crucial role in supply chain management and food retailing for the Shoprite Hypermarket in Mumbai, which has become a case study in India. Freshmark, a wholly-owned company of Shoprite, focuses on the fresh produce business.

Before that, Ashok Jain was a Senior Manager - Agribusiness at Rallis India Ltd., where they provided agri-inputs and marketing solutions to farmers.

Ashok subsequently attended the University of Mumbai, where they earned a LL.B degree in Law from 1991 to 1996. In addition, they pursued further professional qualifications, obtaining a Certified Investment Banker degree from ICFAI University in 1999-2000 and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification in International Financial Management from ICFAI University from 1994 to 1997.
