Dan Mahrt

Dan Mahrt, PE, is a Principal and Geotechnical Department Manager at Terracon, overseeing geotechnical and drilling operations in Minnesota since May 2018. Mahrt has extensive experience in geotechnical engineering and drilling services, including in-situ testing and noise and vibration monitoring. Previously, Mahrt served as Principal Engineer/Associate Principal at Braun Intertec Corporation from May 2006 to May 2018, focusing on technical leadership and mentoring, as well as geotechnical engineering for significant projects. Mahrt's involvement with the Geo-Institute of America Society of Civil Engineers spanned from January 2013 to September 2020. Mahrt holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Geotechnical Engineering from Iowa State University and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
