Dylan Layfield

Dylan Layfield has a diverse range of work experience. Dylan currently holds the position of VP, Material Sales & Recycling at TerraCycle, a role they assumed in October 2022. Prior to this, they worked at TerraCycle in various positions, including Global Director, Business Development - Freight Recycling, Director, Business Development - Freight Recycling, Senior Manager, Material Solution, and Material Supply Chain & Solutions Coordinator. Before joining TerraCycle, Dylan served as the Recycling Coordinator at Dorchester County from October 2016 to June 2017. Dylan also worked as a Program Development Manager at SMART Recycling US from March 2016 to August 2016. Additionally, Dylan held the role of Sustainability Specialist at CR&R Inc from September 2014 to November 2015 and worked as a Recycling Sales Rep at Republic Services from June 2013 to July 2014. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Arborist & Plant Health Care Technician at Bartlett Tree Experts, where they were promoted to Plant Health Care/IMP Technician within two months of employment. Dylan also has entrepreneurial experience, having owned and operated Less-Wasted Recycling & Sustainable Solutions from March 2009 to August 2012, and serving as a Partner at GreeneWorks Recycling from July 2011 to March 2012.

Dylan Layfield attended The University of Georgia from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Forestry. In 2009, they also obtained a minor in Ecology from the same university. Dylan does not have any additional certifications listed.
