János Potoczky

János Potoczky has held various roles throughout their work experience. János started as a Junior Software Engineer at Dorsum | Investment Software in 1998 and then became a Software Engineer at Netrix in 2005. From 2000 to 2007, they worked as an Assistant Professor at Miklós Zrínyi University of National Defense. János then joined Metro Cash and Carry as a Senior Software Engineer from 2007 to 2009. After that, they worked at MOL Group as a Retail IT Development Lead and Project Manager from 2009 to 2016. Currently, they are the VP IT - Loop at TerraCycle since January 2019 and previously served as the Senior Software Engineering Manager there from 2016 to 2018.

János Potoczky completed their education at two different institutions. From 1994 to 2000, they attended Budapest University of Technology and Economics, where they earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Mechanical Engineering. Following that, they pursued further education at Eötvös Loránd University from 2004 to 2008, obtaining a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mathematics and Computer Science.

Additionally, János Potoczky obtained a certification in IT Information Library Foundations (ITIL) v3 from EXIN in July 2011.
