Zara Huseynova

Zara Huseynova has a diverse range of work experience. Zara is currently serving as the Head of Strategic Partnerships at Terraformation, where they have held this role since March 2023. Additionally, they are also involved in the design and execution of the Seed to Carbon Forest Accelerator at the same company, starting in September 2022. Prior to their current position, Zara worked as the Head of Business Development, Eurasia at Terraformation from May 2021 to March 2023.

In 2018, Zara founded their own companies, W_Space and Speak Glocal, where they held the role of Founder for both ventures. Zara also founded WoWoman in 2015 and ALZA in 2012.

Zara has been involved in public speaking and facilitation since 2011, working as a Speaker and Facilitator. Zara has served as an OYW Ambassador for One Young World and as a Fellow at Facebook from October 2018 to May 2021. Furthermore, Zara had a leadership role at AIESEC as the Local Committee President from February 2011 to February 2012. Zara had responsibilities such as leading the Local Committee, managing the Executive Board, and serving as the main external representative.

Zara Huseynova started their education in 2010 at Azerbaijan State Oil Academy, where they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Management. Zara successfully completed their degree in 2014. In 2013, they attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst, focusing on Leadership, Public Policy, and Social Entrepreneurship. Additionally, in 2016, Zara briefly participated in the MITx Global Entrepreneurship Bootcamp at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The degree obtained from the bootcamp is not mentioned.
