Longchao Zhou has a wealth of experience in the aerospace engineering field. Longchao began their career in 2008 as a Strength Group Leader at Shenyang Flying People Aircraft. In 2010, they became a Lead Stress and F&DT Engineer for Center Fuselage at Bombardier Aerospace. In 2012, they were promoted to F&DT Engineer at Bombardier Aerospace. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Static and F&DT for Composite Wing at COMAC and as Lead Engineer of Fatigue and Damage Tolerance Analysis at AVIC The First Aircraft Institute. In 2018, they were appointed Design Department Deputy Director at KDZ Composite Materials Co., Ltd. In 2019, they worked as Chief Stress Engineer at Terrafugia and Structural Strength Chief Engineer at Hubei Jiuli Too Power Aircraft. In 2021, they assumed the role of Quality & Airworthiness Director at TCab Tech, where they are responsible for developing the E20 vectoed thrust eVTOL.
Longchao Zhou attended the Harbin Institute of Technology from 2004 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Mechanical Engineering.
