Alessandra Alvarenga

Alessandra Alvarenga has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Alessandra started their career in 1998 in the field of Architecture and Urbanism, working in various offices until 2010. In 2010, they joined HSBC Global Technology Brazil as a Software Analyst, where they documented non-functional requirements and executed test scripts for system implementation projects. Alessandra then joined HSBC Global Technology Brazil in 2011 as a Business Process Analyst, where they were involved in various projects related to process mapping, requirement gathering, and risk analysis. From 2014 to 2015, they worked on the FATCA Canada project, leading a team of three BAs and delivering detailed business requirements and procedures.

In 2016, Alessandra joined HSBC as a Business Process Analyst, working on the CRS Canada project, where they interacted with multi-location teams and provided support throughout the project lifecycle. Alessandra designed multiple business processes, gathered and analyzed detailed business requirements, and validated and communicated them to business partners. Alessandra also created and updated system manuals and procedures.

From 2018 to 2021, Alessandra worked at Fairstone as a Senior Product Owner and PO Practice Champion. Alessandra held various roles within the company, including Senior Product Owner, Product Manager, and Product Owner/Senior Business Analyst, where they were responsible for product ownership and championing best practices related to product ownership.

In 2021, Alessandra joined BOMBARDIER as a Senior Digital Product Owner, where they worked until 2022. Currently, they are working at Terranova Security as a Product Owner.

Throughout their career, Alessandra has demonstrated expertise in product ownership, business process analysis, requirement gathering, and project management. Their experience includes working with multidisciplinary teams, managing change requests, and creating and updating system manuals and procedures.

Alessandra Alvarenga pursued a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from 1996 to 2005 at Universidade Federal do Paraná. In 2018 and 2019, they attended HEC Montréal, where they completed a Microprogramme in Exploitation de données. Alessandra has also earned several certifications throughout their career, including Public Speaking Foundations from LinkedIn in June 2023, Product Management Tips and Product Management: Building a Product Roadmap from LinkedIn in January 2022, Professional Scrum Product Owner - PSPO I from Scrum.org in May 2019, Lean Six Sigma Foundations from LinkedIn in June 2018, and HSBC Senior Business Analyst Internal Certification from HSBC in June 2013.
