Marcus Richmond

Marcus Richmond is a skilled Project GIS Scientist at Terraphase Engineering Inc. since October 2020, with prior experience as a Senior Staff GIS Analyst/Geologist at Wood from May 2019 to October 2020. Richmond has demonstrated expertise in leading and training colleagues in fieldwork tasks, including groundwater, soil, and soil vapor sampling, as well as supervising drilling operations. Previously, as a Staff Geologist at NV5 from September 2017 to April 2019, Richmond engaged in various field activities and managed field equipment used for monitoring environmental conditions. Richmond's early career includes roles as a GIS Intern with the City of Morro Bay and an Environmental Intern with the County of San Luis Obispo, focusing on GIS asset management and project analysis in accordance with CEQA guidelines. Richmond holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Earth Science from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, completed in 2017.
