Xiaolei Ma

Xiaolei Ma has extensive work experience in the biotechnology and biomedical research industries. They currently hold the position of Director at Terremoto Biosciences since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Director at TRV/OrbiMed NewCo from November 2021 to May 2022.

Xiaolei Ma also has a long tenure at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research (NIBR). They held various roles at NIBR, including Senior Principal Scientist from September 2020 to October 2021, Investigator III from November 2016 to August 2020, and Investigator II from May 2012 to October 2016.

They began their career as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Genentech from June 2008 to May 2012.

Xiaolei Ma completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biochemistry from Nanjing University in 2003. From 2003 to 2008, Xiaolei Ma pursued a higher level of education and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Biochemistry from Case Western Reserve University.
