Joel Kuhn

Joel Kuhn is an accomplished scientist specializing in instruments and controls, currently serving as an R+D Scientist at Terrestrial Energy since April 2021. With extensive experience in research and development, Joel has focused on reducing coating defects in YSZ coatings and characterizing solid oxide cells at the University of Toronto, where Joel has held roles as a Research Associate and Postdoctoral Researcher. Joel's educational background includes a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
