Sonia Chowdhury

Sonia Chowdhury, Esq., MPH is a highly skilled legal and wellness professional currently serving as Corporate Counsel for Employment Law at Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies since December 2024. As the Founder and CEO of Tara Bene LLC since November 2015, Sonia promotes fitness and work-life balance through wellness programs. Previously, Sonia held roles at Employers Council, including Affirmative Action and Wage + Hour Compliance Attorney, and worked at Cigna as a Health Engagement Consultant, where expertise was provided to over 75 employers on employee wellness initiatives. Sonia's background includes experience as a Graduate Student Assistant at the Center for Health, Work & Environment and Health Links, along with an internship at Children's Hospital Colorado focused on employee wellness programming. Educational qualifications include a JD from the University of Denver, an MPH from the Colorado School of Public Health, and a BCom from Queen's University.
