Katalin Biro

Katalin Biro has a diverse and extensive work experience. Katalin is currently working as the Head of HR Europe at tesa since June 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Amway from April 2017 to July 2020 as the HR Manager for Europe, India, Russia, and Africa.

Before joining Amway, Katalin worked at DSM Innovation Center for several roles. From April 2014 to March 2017, they served as the Global HR Business Partner, managing strategic resourcing for management teams and driving HR activities in start-up and venture organizations. Katalin also represented the Bio-based Industries Consortium (BIC) in Brussels and supported recruitment for the Bio-based Industries Joint Undertaking.

At DSM Innovation Center, Katalin also held the position of Global Talent Development Manager from April 2014 to March 2016. Katalin was responsible for project management, talent management, succession planning, and global capability and career development. Katalin introduced a new Global Functional Mentoring program and supported talent management initiatives for the Chief Innovation Officer and Chief Technology Officer.

Prior to their time at DSM, Katalin worked at Kienle+Spiess Stanz- und Druckgießwerk GmbH in Germany as the Regional HR Manager from June 2003 to January 2007. Katalin also worked at Kienle+Spiess Hungary Kft. in Hungary as the Human Resources Manager from May 2002 to June 2003.

Katalin started their career at ING in December 1995, where they served as the Training Manager and HR Generalist until May 2002.
