Marc Timperley

Marc Timperley is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in software development and infrastructure management. Currently serving as the DevSecOps Chapter Lead at Tesco Mobile since June 2023, Marc previously held roles at VerseOne Group from July 2020 to June 2023, including Infrastructure Manager and Senior Software Developer. Notably, during a long tenure at British American Tobacco from December 1994 to August 2019, Marc advanced to the position of Lead Software Engineer, specializing in delivering JavaScript applications within agile teams. Marc Timperley holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and Teaching (Hons.) from the University of Plymouth, obtained between 1990 and 1995.
