Andres Ramirez

Andres Ramirez has over 15 years of work experience in the fields of biotechnology, engineering, and research. Andres began their career in 2004 as a Research Assistant at the Universidad de Chile. In 2008, they became a Specialist on Electrical and Solar Product at Dalkia. In 2010, they were a Development Engineer at Woodtech, where they designed and implemented segmentation algorithms to automatically calculate the load volume of wood transports using laser capture information, developed an automatic optimization strategy for algorithm configuration, and developed measurement algorithms. In 2011, they Co-Founded Memetic Technology. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Consultant at the Universidad de los Andes (CL). Most recently, they have been a Data Scientist at TeselaGen Biotechnology since 2018.

Andres Ramirez obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Universidad de Chile between 2000 and 2003. Andres then continued their studies at the same university and obtained a Mayor in Electrical and Electronics Engineering between 2000 and 2006. In 2006, they obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Universidad de Chile. In 2017, they completed a Nanodegree in Machine Learning from Udacity.
