Junda Qiu

Junda (Jayden) Qiu is a Machine Learning Engineer Intern at GoDaddy since June 2025, where responsibilities include designing and deploying a production ML pipeline for semantic keyword expansion, building an MCP server infrastructure for agent integration, and developing an end-to-end ML inference system. Additionally, Junda serves as a Machine Learning Algorithm Intern at Tesla since August 2024, focusing on enhancing detection accuracy of small targets through optimization of advanced models and techniques, achieving significant improvements in training efficiency and inference speed. Previously, Junda interned as a Data Scientist at Google from January to March 2025, conducting user segmentation and analyzing ad performance to improve marketing strategies. Junda holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering and Computer Science from Oregon State University (2019-2023), and is pursuing a Master of Science in Machine Learning and Data Science at UC San Diego (2023-2025).
