Kuldeep Shankesh

Kuldeep Shankesh is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in physical design and hardware engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Physical Design Engineer at Tesla since November 2022, Kuldeep focuses on optimizing power efficiency in compute chips. Prior to this, Kuldeep worked at Apple from July 2014 to October 2022, holding roles as Senior CPU Implementation Engineer and CPU Implementation Engineer, contributing to critical PPA efforts and overseeing projects from feasibility studies to tape-out. Kuldeep's early career includes an internship at Intel Corporation and a role as System Software Engineer at Hewlett Packard, along with a strong educational background including a Master's degree in VLSI and Computer Architecture from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering.
