Vincent Peng is a skilled mechanical engineer with extensive experience in design and engineering roles at Tesla from July 2016 to the present, where responsibilities include mechanical design of the 4680 battery cell and contributions to cell and chassis engineering. Prior to Tesla, Vincent served as the Technical Director and lead engineer for the Michigan Baja Racing team, achieving notable successes in collegiate competitions. Vincent also has teaching experience as a Welding and CNC Trainer at the University of Michigan College of Engineering. Vincent holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan, completed in 2016.
