Stephanie Abrego

Stephanie Abrego has over 12 years of work experience in various roles within the veterinary and healthcare industries. Stephanie started their career at VCA Animal Hospitals, where they worked as a Front Desk Supervisor, Accounts Payable, and Buyer. In these roles, they managed daily operations, enforced protocols, and implemented new strategies to increase revenue and meet budget goals. Stephanie also implemented and launched the Coupa purchasing system and provided training to hospital employees.

Stephanie then joined National Veterinary Associates as a Senior Support Specialist, where they assisted with sourcing and securing personal protective equipment for over 900 animal hospitals. Stephanie also played a key role in the launch and support of the Coupa purchasing system across the enterprise. Later, they took on the role of Senior Vendor Relations Specialist, where they managed the national-level relationship between NVA and preferred partners, secured sponsorship funds, and provided account support to over 700 sites.

Most recently, Stephanie joined Tessera Therapeutics as the Procurement Operations & Systems Lead, where they are responsible for overseeing procurement operations and systems.

Stephanie Abrego holds an Associate's degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations from Pasadena City College. Stephanie has also obtained the Coupa Certified certification from Coupa Software in 2018. In 2023, they will receive training from Coupa Software as an Inspire Trained professional and obtain a certification in Coupa Procure-to-Invoice System Administration.
