Jacob Coumans

Jacob Coumans has a diverse work experience. Jacob is currently working as a Consultant at PA Consulting since March 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Consultant Analyst at the same company from July 2021 to March 2023.

Before joining PA Consulting, Jacob worked as a Project Lead at Tesseract Health starting from August 2019. Jacob also gained experience as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Hyperfine for two months from June 2019 to August 2019.

Jacob's educational background includes being a Graduate Student at Stevens Institute of Technology from January 2018 to May 2019. Jacob also worked as an Operations Intern at Health Recovery Solutions for three months from June 2018 to August 2018. In this role, they were responsible for tasks such as automating data processing and analysis in Excel, creating educational videos, and performing monthly performance audits.

In 2017, Jacob worked as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at Stevens Institute of Technology. During this time, they designed and programmed a three degree-of-freedom upper limb exoskeleton and presented their research at a conference.

Prior to that, Jacob gained experience as a Research and Development Engineer - Summer Intern at Insulet Corporation in 2016 and as a researcher in brain-computer interfaces and EEG signals at Stevens Institute of Technology in 2015.

Jacob Coumans completed their primary and secondary education at Arrowhead Union High School from 2010 to 2014. Jacob then pursued their undergraduate degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering at Stevens Institute of Technology from 2014 to 2018. Following their bachelor's degree, Jacob continued their education at the same institute and earned a Master of Engineering degree in Engineering Management from 2018 to 2019.
