Senior Accounts Officer at Tesserent

Nerissa Zapata-Pia has extensive work experience in finance and accounting roles. Nerissa started their career as a Cashier at Globe Telecom in 2003, where they were responsible for accurately recording and reporting receipts from subscriber payments. Nerissa then worked at Financial Times, starting as a Sales Ledger/Accounts Receivables Specialist before transitioning to Senior Purchase Ledger/Accounts Payable Specialist. In these roles, they handled daily posting of collection batches, monitored daily cash spreadsheets, communicated with business partners and customers, and performed coding analysis and allocation of pre-payments.

In 2011, Nerissa joined Chevron as a Finance Analyst, fulfilling various roles including Cash and Receivables Support Analyst, Credit Support/Billings Finance Analyst, and Cash and Bank Finance Analyst. Their responsibilities included submitting unclaimed property reports, reconciling accounts, processing invoices and credit memos, monitoring sales orders and deliveries, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards.

From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a General Accountant at BME Pty Ltd, and in 2018, they joined both Tesserent and iQ3 Cloud Services as a Finance Specialist and Accounts/Admin respectively. In their role at iQ3 Cloud Services, they were involved in activities such as setting up new customers and suppliers, processing invoices and expense claims, generating invoices and account statements, conducting profitability analysis, and providing troubleshooting assistance.

Nerissa Zapata-Pia earned their Bachelor's Degree in BS Accountancy from Ateneo de Naga University, where they attended from 1998 to 2002.
