Richard Denney III

Richard Denney III currently serves as the Director of Business Development at Tessitura since January 2023. Prior to this role, Richard was the Director of Audience Services at The Public Theater from April 2011 to January 2023, where significant achievements included restructuring departments to enhance service for 300,000 guests annually and leading a cross-functional team that implemented call center software, reducing wait times by 75%. Richard has also held the position of Theater Manager, overseeing operations across multiple performance venues, and developed an Emergency Action plan that improved emergency response times by 100%. At State Theatre New Jersey, Richard worked as the Front Of House Manager, where innovative training programs and process improvements led to exceptional customer service and a balanced staffing budget. Richard began their career as an Entertainment Supervisor at The Mirage and holds a BFA in Musical Theatre Performance from East Carolina University.
