Richard Skousen

Richard Skousen has extensive work experience as a software developer, with roles at various companies spanning from 1988 to present. Richard currently serves as a Senior Programmer / Analyst at TestOut Corporation since January 2020. Prior to this, from 1993, Richard worked at Verity Publishing Inc as the President and Software Developer, where they utilized their software engineering skills to develop innovative solutions and saved significant time through the creation of a C# utility and a Java applet. Richard also worked as a Senior Software Developer at Imagine Learning from November 2015 to November 2019 and at Dental Intelligence Inc. from June 2015 to October 2015. Richard played a critical role at Softwise from April 2008 to June 2015 in transitioning a financial product to a .NET product. Additionally, Richard engaged in contract software development at iCentris from October 2005 to August 2006, worked as a Senior Software Developer at PowerQuest from July 2000 to May 2003, and at Geneva Steel from February 1996 to July 2000, where they specialized in writing and maintaining level 2 programs. Richard's career also includes a role as a Software Developer at Nu Skin Enterprises from January 1995 to February 1996 and at WordPerfect from October 1988 to September 1994, where they contributed to the development of various software products.

Richard Skousen attended Mountain View High School from 1981 to 1984. Richard did not obtain a degree or specialize in a specific field of study during their time there. Following their high school education, they went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering at Brigham Young University from 1983 to 1986.
