Philip Gradwell

Philip Gradwell is the Chief Economist at Chainalysis Inc., a position held since December 2017, where leadership in product development for cryptocurrency market data occurs, including the Market Intel product. Prior to this role, Philip was a Principal at Vivid Economics from September 2009 to November 2017, contributing as the firm's first analyst and aiding in its growth to 40 employees before its acquisition by McKinsey in 2021. Academic credentials include a degree in Philosophy, Politics & Economics from the University of Oxford (2006-2009) and a Master’s Degree in Economics from UCL (2011-2012).
