John Sweeney

John Sweeney has extensive experience in the field of hydrogeology and water resources. John is currently working as a Principal Hydrogeologist at Coffey since January 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Associate Hydrogeologist & Water Team Leader at Coffey from October 2018 to February 2022. Before joining Coffey, John was an Associate Hydrogeologist & Water Team Leader at the same company from April 2017 to October 2018.

Earlier in their career, John worked as a Consulting Hydrogeologist at Hydrus Consulting from September 2013 to March 2018. John also held the position of Hydrogeologist & Water Resources Team Leader at WorleyParsons from January 2008 to September 2013. John started their career as an Environmental Consultant at Golder Associates, where they worked from 2005 to 2007.

John Sweeney completed their Bachelor of Science in Hydrogeology at the University of Melbourne from 2001 to 2005.
