Matthew Locke has a diverse work experience in the environmental engineering and consulting field. Matthew started their career as an Environmental Consultant at ABB Industry Ltd. in Sydney, Australia, where they conducted site audits of wastewater treatment plants and assisted in developing environmental management systems. Matthew then joined HMR Environmental Consultants in Oman as an Environmental Consultant, where they worked on several Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) studies and was responsible for preparing Environmental Management Plans and conducting compliance audits. Matthew later joined UNEP Post-Conflict & Disaster Management Branch as a Consultant, providing environmental assessment work for countries affected by conflict or disasters. Matthew also worked at WYG Environment Planning Transport in London, United Kingdom, where they managed a team of contaminated land specialists and was responsible for team development, business development, and client liaison. Most recently, Matthew worked at Coffey as a Senior Associate and later as a Principal Environmental Engineer.
