Sarah Groves has a diverse work experience in various roles related to hydrogeology, science, research, and geology. Sarah is currently working as a Principal Hydrogeologist at Coffey since August 2022. Prior to this, they have worked as an Associate Hydrogeologist/Team Leader Groundwater at EMM Consulting Pty Limited from February 2021 to August 2022.
Before that, Sarah held the position of Science - Technical Manager at Phoslock Environmental Technologies Ltd from October 2011 to February 2021, and also from May 2007 to October 2011. Sarah was responsible for managing science and technical aspects of the company.
Sarah also has experience working with CSIRO as a Hydrogeochemist from July 2004 to April 2007. Sarah was involved in project leadership, team management, and project proposal writing.
During their time at UNSW, Sarah worked as a Researcher PHD Student from January 2000 to May 2006, and as an Honours Student from February 1999 to December 1999.
Sarah started their career in 1997 as an Operations Technical Assistant at Oil Search Limited, where they gained practical experience in the oil and gas industry.
Sarah also has a strong educational background, having obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science in Geology from the University of Technology Sydney in 1997.
Additionally, they worked as a Geological Assistant at Michelago Resources NL from January 1996 to July 1996, gaining expertise in mineral exploration, fieldwork, and data analysis.
Sarah Groves has a Doctor of Science degree in Environmental Science from UNSW.
