Barbara Fortin

Senior Geotechnical Engineer at Tetra Tech

Barbara Fortin is a highly experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer at Tetra Tech, a position held since July 2013. Prior to this role, Barbara Fortin gained valuable experience as a Project Engineer and Underground Geotechnical Engineer at BHP Billiton from November 2008 to April 2009 and from December 2002 to October 2006, respectively. Earlier in the career, Barbara Fortin worked as a Mine Geologist at ECHOBAY MINES ltd and as a Geologist at the Department of Indian Affairs and Northern Development, as well as at Royal Oak Mines. Barbara Fortin holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Geological Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Université Laval, along with a DEC in Pure and Applied Science from Collège de Maisonneuve. Additionally, Barbara Fortin has musical training from the Conservatoire de musique et d'art dramatique du Québec.
