Sarah Weatherbee, PWS, currently serves as a Renewable Energy Project Manager at Tetra Tech since June 2023. Prior to this role, Sarah was engaged with Haley Ward, Inc. as a Project Scientist and Natural Resources Scientist, focusing on wetland ecology and environmental permitting in New England from December 2020 to June 2023. Sarah's experience extends to roles such as Environmental Scientist and Project Manager at J Foster Consulting LLC, and extensive volunteering for the Friends of Boyd Hill Nature Preserve, where Sarah was a board member from 2006 to 2007. Additionally, Sarah played leadership roles in community science initiatives, such as co-chairing the St. Petersburg Science Festival and managing programming for Mad Science of Tampa Bay. Early career contributions include research roles at DELTA SEVEN, INC., the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, and an internship with the National Audubon Society. Sarah holds Bachelor's degrees in Spanish and Environmental Studies from Eckerd College and is pursuing graduate certificates in Geographic Information Science and Cartography from the University of Maine Online and the University of South Florida.
