Vijay Patel

Vijay Patel has a robust background in law enforcement and capacity building, serving as a Subject Matter Expert and Police Advisor with Alutiiq, LLC and Tetra Tech since October 2014, focusing on the Haitian National Police's development. Prior experience includes roles such as Law Enforcement Strategic Adviser for the International Police Support Mission under the US State Department and a Contingent Commander with the United Nations Peacekeeping Mission to Haiti, overseeing capacity building and operational management. An entrepreneur as the owner of Carolina First Defense, Vijay Patel has also served as a Police Sergeant with Batesburg Leesville Police Department, leading law enforcement operations while acquiring numerous certifications. Educational achievements include an M.B.A. from Liberty University and a B.S. in Computer Software Engineering from Limestone University, alongside extensive law enforcement training at the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy.
