Phil Buchanan

Phil Buchanan has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Currently, they serve as the Director of Product and Engineering at Tetra Trust Company since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Digital at Aubs and Mugg Incorporated from July 2018 to April 2022.

From January 2018 to December 2019, Phil was a Course Director at York University, where they developed and taught two 12-week courses on interaction design. Phil also worked as a Course Instructor at York University from January 2014 to December 2019.

Before joining York University, Phil was the Head of Design at Hubdoc from August 2017 to June 2018, where they managed the product and marketing design teams. Phil provided guidance to stakeholders from different departments, including the Head of Product and Head of Customer Success and Support.

Prior to Hubdoc, Phil worked as the Manager of Product Design at EventMobi from April 2015 to August 2017. Phil also served as the Lead Web Designer/Developer at Context Creative from June 2011 to April 2015.

Earlier in their career, Phil held the position of Intermediate Graphic Designer at I-Connect from July 2008 to June 2011. Phil started their career as a Design Intern at The Source by Circuit City in June 2007.
