Kelsey Harris

Kelsey Harris is a Senior Software Engineer at Tettra. Kelsey previously worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Calibrate from August 2021 to August 2022, where they led the backend part of an effort to allow members to split payments across multiple cards and support HSA/FSA charges. Kelsey also built a tool to allow soft-deleting of information across the Django application and designed the restructure of the core data models. From November 2018 to May 2021, Kelsey worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Tettra, where they proposed and developed a project around application performance that decreased global average load/interactive times from over 2 seconds to about 1.5 seconds, then again to just over 1 second (with local speeds ~300ms). Kelsey also implemented several features and modified almost everything, with major contributions being supporting the ability for a user to add Google Docs to the knowledge base and verify document accuracy, auditing capabilities for large clients, and anti-phishing measures. Kelsey also provided all on-call and reactive coverage while the CTO was on vacation or parental leave.
