Dominik Bernhagen

Dominik Bernhagen Ph.D. is a seasoned professional in the field of peptide chemistry and business development, currently serving as the Director of Business Development & Key Account Management at TAPI since October 2025. Previously, Bernhagen held the position of Director of Sales Europe at AmbioPharm, where the focus was on peptide-based Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs). Prior to that role, Bernhagen garnered experience as a Key Account Manager at Senn Chemicals AG, engaging in market evaluation, contract negotiation, and customer support. Early career include significant scientific contributions as a PhD student and guest scientist at prestigious institutions, including Radboud University Nijmegen and The Netherlands Cancer Institute, focusing on peptide synthesis and biomedical applications. Bernhagen obtained a Ph.D. in Peptide Chemistry/Biomaterials from RWTH Aachen University and holds both a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from TU Dortmund University.
