Alicia M. Dorsey

AVP, Academic Effectiveness & Planning at Texas A&M University

Alicia M. Dorsey is currently the AVP of Academic Effectiveness & Planning at Texas A&M University. Alicia has previously served as the Associate Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, as well as the Director of IPE and Clinical Simulation. Prior to that, they were the Vice President at Texas A&M Health Science Center. Alicia has been working in higher education for over 15 years and has been instrumental in improving academic affairs and student success rates at each institution they have been a part of.

Alicia M. Dorsey has a Masters in Communication from Indiana University Bloomington and a PhD in Communication from Purdue University.

Their manager is Mark H. Weichold, Interim Provost & EVP, Chief Academic Officer. Alicia M. Dorsey works with Annie S. Mcgowan - Vice President and Associate Provost for Diversity, Andrew P.
