Guest Instructor - Spanish Fire School at Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service - TEEX

Carlos "Tachis" Acevedo is currently serving as the Vice President of the International Committee at SFFMA since July 2017. Carlos "Tachis" is also the President of AMRUEVAC, an organization focused on meeting the needs related to vehicle extrication. Carlos has been a part of the International Committee since 2015 and is a skilled Spanish instructor and translator. Carlos "Tachis" is a leader instructor for the Spanish Vehicle Extrication training class and has been involved in various roles at Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service, Spanish Fire School - TEEX, and their own company, CODIGO SEGURIDAD, where Carlos "Tachis" provides consulting, training, and assistance in areas related to safety and risk prevention. With a background in publicidad and fire science, Carlos is dedicated to improving safety and disaster prevention in various sectors.
