Cfo Mifiree Jeff Alberts

Jeff Alberts serves as the Chief Financial Officer for MIFireE and holds considerable experience in fire service and emergency management. Currently, Alberts is the Deputy Chief Administration for Volusia County Fire Rescue and an Adjunct Instructor at the National Fire Academy, contributing to curriculum development and strategic planning for fire education. With a designation as Chief Fire Officer from the Center for Public Safety Excellence, Alberts also teaches fire safety courses for the State of Georgia and serves as a Wide Area Search Instructor for Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service. Previously, Alberts has held key roles including Research and Planning Chief for the Savannah Fire Department and Division Group Supervisor for the Georgia IMT Red Team. Educational credentials include a Master of Arts in Emergency and Disaster Management from American Military University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from SUNY Empire State College, among other degrees.
