Janet Perkins

Janet Perkins is an accomplished professional with over 40 years of experience in business development, education improvement, and community economic growth. Currently serving as the Business Development Coordinator at Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service since September 2015, Janet focuses on enhancing grant and funding development capabilities through partnerships with various governmental and educational agencies. Previous experience includes an independent consulting role at Janet Perkins LLP, where expertise encompassed E-rate and Homeland Security, and long-term positions at Texas A&M University and Verizon, managing projects and initiatives in education and public affairs. Janet holds a Master's degree in Educational Psychology and a Bachelor's degree in Pre-Law and Sociology, both from The University of Texas at El Paso.
