Civilian Response To Active Shooter Events Instructor at Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service - TEEX

Juan G. Magaña Estrada is an experienced instructor and volunteer with a strong background in emergency medical response and crisis management. Serving as a BLS & Emergency Medical Response Level 3 Instructor at the Health & Safety Institute since March 2019, Juan has also taken on roles such as the Basic CPR and Urban First Aid Ambassador at Asociación Panamericana de Socorristas and a Stop the Bleed Ambassador. Additional responsibilities include instructing Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events for Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service and volunteering with Cruz Roja Panameña and Sinaproc Base Bella Vista. Juan has leadership experience as a Team Leader for the Virtual Operations Support Group and as the Director of Fundación GRED Internacional A. C. in Panama, in addition to prior coordination roles within the Sistema Nacional de Protección Civil. Educational qualifications include a technical degree in Urban Construction and training in emergencies and disasters from various institutions.
