Hassan Aziz serves as the Dean and Professor at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi since June 2021, overseeing academic leadership and administration in areas such as curriculum, budgeting, and faculty development. Prior to this role, Hassan held the position of Professor and Executive Associate Dean for Academic, Faculty and Student Affairs at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center from August 2018 to July 2021, where focus was placed on fostering faculty excellence in teaching, research, and scholarship. At Qatar University, from January 2012 to September 2018, Hassan advanced as an Academic Consultant and later as Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, coordinating academic program assessments and ensuring quality assurance and accreditation. Hassan's earlier academic leadership experience includes serving as Department Head and Associate Professor at Armstrong Atlantic State University from August 2000 to December 2011. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Medical Laboratory Science and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science from The University of Southern Mississippi, along with a Bachelor’s Degree from Kuwait University.
