As a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Corpus Christi, Texas, Nedia N. De Lua-Ruiz,MSN, PMHNP-BC, always puts the well-being of her patients first. Ms. De Lua-Ruiz offers compassionate, patient-focused mental health care for conditions ranging from depression and anxiety to schizophrenia and PTSD.

In addition, Ms. De Lua-Ruiz serves as a full-time Clinical Assistant Professor teaching in the Undergraduate Nursing program at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, Tx. Ms. De Lua-Ruiz earned her Bachelor’s of Science in nursing (BSN) degree at Texas Tech University Health Science Center. She completed her Master’s of Science in nursing (MSN), which enabled her to become a nurse practitioner at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in San Antonio.

With over a decade of practical psychiatric nursing experience, Ms. De Lua-Ruiz has a comprehensive understanding of her patients’ needs and is able to bring forth this experience to her classroom setting. She strives to be a true partner in health and education for both her patients and nursing students.
