Julia Muzquiz is an accomplished legal professional currently serving as the Director of Strategic Initiatives at the Texas Association of Business, a position held since January 2024. Previously, Julia was a Program Manager at The Center for Binational Institutions and has held various roles including Research Assistant for Professor Guillermo Garcia-Sanchez at Texas A&M University School of Law, Law Clerk at Cowen | Rodriguez | Peacock, and Summer Associate positions at Begum Peláez-Prada, PLLC, and The White House. Julia has also volunteered with the Capital Area Immigrants' Rights Coalition and interned with the U.S. House of Representatives. Julia earned a Doctor of Law (JD) with concentrations in Business and Dispute Resolution from Texas A&M University School of Law and a Bachelor’s Degree in Culture and Politics with a focus on Border Development from Georgetown University. Julia also participated in a study abroad program at Universidad Pontificia Comillas and completed secondary education at Saint Joseph Academy.
